Matt Cardle has compared his new album to a shit meal in a restaurant.
Having a chat with Dannii Minogue (no seriously), the 'Run For Your Life' hitmaker was asked about his hastily-recorded second album, to which he replied: "It feels almost like when you order something in a restaurant and it comes out within five minutes and you think 'that can't be any good'."
Hm. His point, though, is that things have actually turned out to be surprisingly alright.
As well as that fairly uninspiring analogy, he also had this to say about his new opus, 'The Fire': "I think it's by far and away my best work."
Praise indeed.
