Jahmene Douglas has signed a record deal with RCA

JahmeneX Factor wildman Jahmene Douglas has signed a record deal with RCA, it's been announced.

The man most famous for having his micro­phone snatched by Nicole Scherzinger will release his debut album in May and recording starts after the X Factor tour finishes.

Jahmene had this to say about it all: "I'm so excited about signing to RCA. They have such a rich heritage of amazing artists. Colin Barlow and his team share my vision of being a timeless artist and I can't wait to start recording my first album…let the journey begin."
