Above average pop inventor Bonnie McKee has revealed that Britney's 'Hold It Against Me' was inspired by Katy Perry's body.
"'Hold It Against Me' was a happy accident," she begins. "It was actually inspired by Katy because I was writing with her at the time and I went in the other room where I was working on Britney in between. She came into the room in some tight, sexy little dress and I jokingly said, 'Damn, Katy if I told you you had a nice body would you hold it against me?' I was like, 'Bingo!' and I wrote that song."
Bingo! indeed.
But what goes into a Britney song then Bonnie?
"Britney Spears is just all sex, all day. It's like, how many sexual innuendos can I come up with?"
Speaking about her own music, 'Bonno' promised "big pop songs, radio stuff. Very ‘80s influenced, kind of nostalgic. Big vocals. I like big, soaring melodies and fun, splashy lyrics. Maybe like what Blondie would do in 2013".
She's also been working with Max Martin and Dr Luke, so this all sounds very promising doesn't it readers?
