Selena Gomez has 'scored' her first ever US Number One album with 'Stars Dance', reports Billboard.
The album — the first to be credited to just Selena Gomez since she ditched 'The Scene' — sold 97,000 copies last week, to knock Jay Z's 'Chocolate Magnum Carter USM' album down to Number 2.
That sales figure also represents her largest single week sales figure so far.
In other US chart news, One Direction's 'Best Song Ever' sold 322,000 downloads in its first week on sale, which is quite a lot really.
