Pharrell has confirmed he's releasing a solo album next year (told you) and that there will be zero rapping on it.
In an interview with Complex magazine, he's asked about his 'flow', to which he replied: "I love rapping. But — something's coming, and I'm not rapping on it."
Asked to elaborate, he added: "No rapping. It’s focused. Like I told you, that's the difference between 30 and 40. 'Cause I was 30, now I’m 40—and I'm not rapping."
Aware that he should perhaps clarify what it is he's talking about, the man from Complex asks if he's talking about a solo album, to which the 'Popular Demand (Popeyes)' hitmaker says, "Yeah".
Could be good.
