Basically, right, Hilary Duff just doesn't really have the time to be a popstar, so apols everyone.
Having a chat with someone to promote her TV show Younger, which apparently she does have time for, the 'Sparks' hitmaker said the following words (as quoted here):
“As a parent you learn about balance. Someone asked me about, ‘How do you sing and how do you act?’ Before I had a child I could do all those things and give it my everything.”
Were you pedal to the metal, sleep when you die?
“I was pedal to the metal, sleep when I die and now my son takes priority over everything. I’m not going to be on a world tour and be the top of the charts because I don’t have the time to put in and that’s not what’s important to me."
Putting things in some sort of order, she added:
“Acting is something that’s always in the forefront… and then music is the other thing that I do that I love. And then obviously being a mother is the number one.”
Just one more 'So Yesterday' Hilary, that's all we ask. Just one more.
