About eight years before anybody was expecting it to be properly unleashed on the world, Alesha Dixon ex-of Mis-teeq* has chucked a load of her new stuff on MySpace.
How very '2006'!
'Superficial', 'Fire It Up' and 'Lipstick' are available to hear now at www.myspace.com/aleshadixonmusic and are listed in ascending order of greatness.
PROCEED WITH CAUTION! There's not much shouting on these three songs (boo!) and they're not the Richard X or Paul Epworth tracks, which you can expect to be the ones which really define Alesha as a Modern Popstar Worth Bothering About.
We advise all MySpace users to add Alesha as a friend to make her feel wanted.
* Mis-teeq: three-piece pop group briefly popular in early part of 21st Century comprising Alesha Dixon and some others. Hits included 'Scandalous' — which had a good trumpet bit — and 'Style' — which had a 'West End Girls' bit. Thinking about it now, their unbroken run of seven Top 10 hits was quite an achievement. But, as with so many things, it all seems quite a long time ago now, does it not?
