With so much medocrity in the song's three-and-a-half minute duration it's hard to pinpoint the most useless and perfunctory thing about Hilary Duff's toweringly boring new, Depeche Mode-sampling track 'Reach Out'.

We wonder who, of all the people involved in this terrible song, was the most bored? The guest rap is certainly one of the most lifeless you'll hear in the 21st century, although special mention should also go to production so bad that it's put to shame by the incidental music in Britannia High. But really, there can only be one winner of this shameful contest, and that is Duff herself. When Jamelia sampled Depeche Mode's 'Personal Jesus' for 'Beware Of The
Dog' people said that the song was too reliant on the sample but, let's face
it, at least Jamelia showed some basic flicker of recognition that she was involved with a song that other people might one day have to listen to and try to enjoy.
(Incidentally: hahahaha, 'The Best Of Hilary Duff'.)
