The 'coaches' on BBC's The Voice have revealed what motivated them to get involved.
Jessie J says it was not about the money but rather that the clue is "all in the title". She insists "the voice is the main thing for me, always has been, always will be".
In a not-very-veiled pop at a similar TV show she said The Voice is "not about the package or your story or how many people you bring to the audition or if you can do a backflip".
For innovator will.i.am, the deciding factor was a bit more existential, leaving him pondering: "If I don’t try and make an artist bigger than me, then why am I even here?".
Speaking about his contestants he said "if they win, they win. And if they don't, they still win".
No, they definitely lose.
