I think liking them­selves. Being happy with who they are and having a good sense of humour.

How do you get up from an all-time low?
(Laughs) You totally change the way that you look and you make an album of songs!

What is the meaning of being lonely?
Erm… The meaning of being lonely…

There's a dif­fer­ence between being alone and being lonely isn't there? Because you can be by yourself and not be lonely.
It's whether you have a choice in it. Sometimes you can be alone because you want to be but when you're lonely it means that you don't really have any control over it.

Did you find touring lonely?
Yeah. It is quite lonely. It's a weird life. We weren't born to live on a bus.

And you see all those people for about an hour a day and then nothing.
Then it's just SILENCE! (Laughs) (Stops laughing)

It only takes a minute to fall in love. Is that true, or false?
It's false. Well, I haven't exper­i­enced that head over heels love yet.

Do you think it's possible?
Yes, but with the people I've fallen in love with it hasn't been an instant thing. It's quite quick, but it's not in an instant. But I think it can happen.

Which stop do you love on the Northern Line?
(Misunderstands question) No one stops me on the Northern line. Well, only the plague that seems to be in the seats. It's so itchy.

But which stop on the Northern line is your favourite?
Camden.  Or Chalk Farm. That's good.

If you had a little world of your own, what kind of God would you be?
I've created my own world so I guess I would have to be the God.

Would everyone have to wear pink?
No, but it has to be some shade of pastel.

The bag you have with you today is pink.
Oh my God that bag is foul.
