Christmas is a great excuse to make terrible records. So is charity. And so are collaborations. And when you combine the three, you know you're in for something extra-specially bad.
Anyway, the new Killers / Elton John / Neil Tennant charity Christmas song, 'Joseph, Better You Than Me', is not really up there with any of the respective artists' best work. There are two good bits, though: the "you're a maker, a creator, not just somebody's dad" bit, and the other bit where Elton does the whole "the desert is a hell of a place to find Heaven" portion.
Well it's all for a good cause 'etc'. Visit http://red.msn.com/ to hear it. WARNING: A U2 song will automatically start playing when the page loads.
