But what does it all mean?
POSSIBLE MEANING ONE
She has been busy selling ice creams and her entire new album will be themed around the idea of ice cream and other frozen confectionery items eg sorbets, frozen yoghurt, ice lollies and so on. NO FEASTS.
POSSIBLE MEANING TWO
Something about the Statue Of Liberty, America etc. This wouldn't work very well because everyone knows Marina & The Diamonds is the only person who has really figured out what America is all about.
POSSIBLE MEANING THREE
Something about an Olympic torch. Perhaps she is ready to take the torch of being famous (in the ES Magazine world of major label-signed female singers who haven't really sold that many records but still seem to have a high profile) back from I Blame Coco, Sunday Girl 'et al'.
POSSIBLE MEANING FOUR
VV has worked with writers Evan Bogart (Beyonce), Jean Baptiste (Black Eyed Peas), Mr Griffiths (Jem) and writer/producers Bjorn Yttling (of feted Swedish indie rockers Peter Bjorn and John), "because I needed to twist things up a bit," and Ne-Yo collaborator Chuck Harmony, who produced the album’s first single 'Children' featuring Chiddy (of Philadelphia's Chiddy Bang). "The song was written about a generation that has uninspiring aspirations and believes material wealth is what happiness is," VV says, adding that the song feels particularly topical given the summer riots in London. "You have to give people a voice," she says. "Everyone has to be heard, because otherwise they will make themselves heard." 'Children' will be available for sale on all DSPs in the States on September 20th.
So yes, it's probably one of those four things.
