This is incredible.
O'Neal should have a chat with Craig David and set up some sort of trans-Atlantic name swap. One could be Craig O'Neal and the other could be David McKnight. Both are solid R&B‑warbler names but neither, crucially, are ridiculous.
Another brilliant idea we have had for O'Neal is that after 'Check Your Coat' has been a reasonable-sized hit in the UK (it's quite good in an enjoyable 6/10 sort of way) he should just do a concept album full of things you hear at nightclubs, eg 'Freshen Up', 'That'll Be £6.50 Please', 'Are There Two Of You In That Cubicle Open The Door Immediately', etc etc.
