A man on Twitter sent us a message earlier — something about the handclaps in Donna Summer's 'This Time I Know It's For Real'.
Clearly we had to give the song a quick listen, just as a reminder of its status as a SOLID GOLD POP CLASSIC. It's odd listening to this sort of song. You think of all the people knocking around now going "well you see what we do is make pop music like it used to be" and "I'm not bothered about being cool I just do what I do" and "our band is bringing pop back" and then you think of 'This Time I Know It's For Real' and you think, "Christ on a bike, none of these artists would ever record a song this amazing".
"Walk a tightrope way up high, write your name across the sky."
Amazing.
