There's something winningly slapdash about the artwork for the Dizzee & Florence 'You've Got The Dirtee Love' track, which is presently Number One on iTunes following the Brits performance on Tuesday. Perhaps February 16 2010 wasn't exactly the day single artwork died but this certainly looks like the laziest artwork we've ever seen for a Number One single: you just slap a logo and some text on a screengrab, don't even bother checking the name of the song, chuck it on iTunes, bish bosh job done.
They should have done this for every performance.
In fact it would have been quite good if every performance was on iTunes following broadcast, though we suspect egos and lawyers may have got in the way of what should have been a rather simple-to-organise set of downloads.
