Stickerwatch: disappointment of the week

 

 

 

This CD. It is from a band called The Higher (HIYAAA!!!!) and its sticker is very excitable, warning us that we are about to "hear the new sound of emo, pop, and R&B colliding in a dance party explosion". 

 

Here at Popjustice we are extremely keen on dance party explo­sions — it's not a night out without one, right viewers? — espe­cially when they also contain the NEW SOUND of several listen­able genres.

Unfortunately the CD is just emo. :(
