In this week's new releases, or at least the ones that have popped up on Spotify:
- Noted tunesmith Clare Maguire's back with a tumultuous sadbanger that we advise you avoid during the aftermath of a 'heavy weekend'.
- Holland's Got Talent girlband TP4Y have a pretty good EP out today — 'Runaway', whose opening one second is identical to Jeppo's 'I Really Like You', is our favourite track.
- Bearson and Cal's 'Want You' is pretty much ideal for a 2016 electronic pop single.
- Fifth Harmony have another great song!
- Nick Jonas and Tove Lo's new single does all the things you think you want it to do without really doing the one thing you definitely want it to do: something you didn't know you wanted it to do.
- The Gryffin mix of Troye Sivan's 'Youth' is almost unbearably brilliant.
- NEW KIIARA.
- Petite Meller's done her song with Pnau this time.
- Steve Aoki's got Adam Lambert on his new single. It's not very good.
- Crap totally untropical Liltpop cash-in release of the week: 19eighty7's 'Get It On'.
We didn't include 'Biffy Clyro', apols.
