If the prospect of Marcus Collins tackling one of The Whites Stripes' six good tunes has got you all excited, you will no doubt be keen to hear what he's done to the song. "I’ve always been a fan of the original version of 'Seven Nation Army'," Collo says in the press release, "and hope people like my take on it."
Well 'his take' is not online yet, except it sort of is. In fact there's been something online since 2010, because Marcus hasn't just covered 'Seven Nation Army', he's covered French musician Ben L'Oncle Soul covering 'Seven Nation Army'. It's a cover within a cover. A cocoverver. Actually didn't Coco Verver win Britain's Next Top Model in 2009?
Anyway, we digress. This is what Marcus has up his sleeve.
It's basically that with Marcus' voice on it. It's hard to know what to say about it, really, other than that. Marcus' vocals are good? Yes, that is what we will say. 'WE ENJOYED MARCUS' VOCAL PERFORMANCE'.
We're quite looking forward to the album actually. We're predicting 70% nonsense, 20% good stuff and 10% amazingness, and that 30% is good enough for us.
