Everyone knows who Robyn is now. She is that woman who did that dance song which goes 'baby we can make it alright…' and is good but sad but good as well.
But as some people might be aware there is a lot more to Robyn than one recent moderately popular hit record. Here is a brief YouTubular history of Swedish Robyn and her pop records. They are records of varying success and decency, and there is uninvited interference from Dame Beverley Knight. You have been warned…
» Last century, Robyn had a hit with a song called 'Show Me Love'. This has been referenced every time anyone has mentioned Robyn over the past month, as if The General Public are expected to remember a Number 8 song from ten years ago.

» She also had a song titled 'Do You Know (What It Takes)' which was very good as well although the brackets were somewhat superfluous.

» She then released some real howlers during that strange period of life some people go through. One of these was a real stinker called 'Electric'.

» Robyn learned from this and then recorded an amazing song called 'Keep This Fire Burning', which later had its arse torn out by a Knight of the Realm and was therefore approved of by the Queen.

» She also did a song called 'Don't Stop The Music' and no doubt had quite a struggle keeping Hinda Hicks, Misty Oldand and Judy Cheeks from clutching at it with their claws.

» But Robyn didn't really like any of these songs and went back to Sweden to make some amazing songs like 'Be Mine' which might be her next single in the UK.

» But then again, it probably won't. It might instead be 'Handle Me'.

» But really, it should be this.

Except that's not even on the album, so what do we know, eh?
