You can mistake their biology

Over the last week or so a person on YouTube calling them­selves petie71 has been uploading slightly altered versions of Girls Aloud songs. Basically he's used Audacity (a free audio editing program — download it here) to drop the pitch of songs like 'Call The Shots' and 'The Promise', resulting in Girls Aloud tracks with 'male' vocalists.

You get the idea. 

The songs sound a bit 'wrong', of course  — they've had their pitches dicked around with — but even a wrong-sounding Girls Aloud track beaten around the head by an amateur YouTube uploader using free audio editing software creates a better idea of what a 2008 boyband should sound like than the combined efforts and budgets of the numerous music industry pro­fes­sions working on the Avenue campaign. Poor Avenue. :(
