Well the Cheryl Cole 'Fight For This Love' video is very good (apart from the shit bits).
Our favourite part is when Cheryl is in a spooksome Tron-style graph thing.
As well as being stylish and contemporary this image has its practical uses too.
Above you can see above we have plotted
our appreciation of 'Fight For This Love' over the last couple of weeks. Clearly some days are better than others but it's generally positive.
We keep statistics like that for all songs in the UK Top 200 — the day's 'appreciation' is measured between 4pm and 6pm (3pm and 5pm at weekends) and it comes in really handy when someone says 'what did you think about Sam Sparro's 'Black & Gold' on February 8 2009?', because we can simply refer to our notes and say, 'on that day, the song seemed to drag slightly, but the following day it seemed perky in comparison'.
Another good thing about the Cheryl Graph is that if you combine it with the legendary bar chart bits from The Saturdays' 'Up' video…
…you get a right old mess and what is without doubt the worst Photoshop effort ever to have appeared on award-winning-but-not-recently pop website Popjustice.com.
