It's half a decade since we got justifiably over-excited about Swedish song singer Amanda Mair [ti]https://twitter.com/AmandaMair[/ti] [fi]https://www.facebook.com/amandamairofficial[/fi] — her song 'Doubt' remains a stone cold banger, and her 2012 debut album [si]https://open.spotify.com/album/2hioffIMaX8Jw6LZGU6b3Y[/si] was also incredible.
NOW SHE'S BACK!
'Wednesday' appeared online yesterday (not a Wednesday) and, as you'd hope, it's a pensivepop triumph.
Amanda spoke to Aftonbladet yesterday about the story behind the song. We've had to whack this quote through Google Translate but, good grief, you get the general idea. "It's like nothing has a taste and you touch does not feel," she says, "but everything hurts."
There's an EP coming soon.
