Luton Council has been forced to halve ticket prices for 'gigs' by Olly Murs and The Wanted as part of the Love Luton Festival on July 6 and 7.
Tickets were initially available for £32 but are now priced at £15, which still seems a little too high but there you go. Mind you, if you're a child you get to go free which is nice.
According to the council, as reported by Luton Today, the decision was made due to "a drop in ticket sales combined with feedback from local people indicating ticket prices were too high".
People that have already forked out for the experience won't get their money back, but will be given "an equivalent number of additional free tickets that can be used for either concert".
This, however, did not placate a very angry sounding Pete Smith of Suncote Avenue, Dunstable, who said: "I bought them as a present for my girlfriend for our one-year anniversary – we don’t want to take two other people along with us."
Poor future-Mrs-Smith. :(
