Queen feat Adam Lambert will be playing two shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo on July 11 and 12.
The 'gigs' are to make up for the fact that their previous UK date as headliners of the Sonisphere Festival couldn't happen because the entire festival was cancelled, which seems a bit of an overreaction but never mind.
Brian May is so excited about it all that he's forgotten what the venue is called already: "Somehow this feels right — The Odeon [YES THANKS GRANDAD] is a big part of our history, and its atmosphere is second to none. It's the perfect place to acknowledge our faithful fans, and will be a fitting return to our roots!"
Adam Lambert, meanwhile, is "thrilled" about it all.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 18 at 9am, but will be available to Queen fans and Sonisphere ticket holders the day before.
