As expected Adele 'swept the board' at last night's Grammy awards, winning in all six of her nominated categories.
She took the three main prizes with 'Rolling In The Deep' winning Record of the Year and Song of the Year, while '21' was awarded Album of the Year.
Collecting the latter award, Adele said: "First of all I want to say mum: 'Girl did good'."
"This record is inspired by something that is really normal and everyone's been through it, which is a rubbish relationship," she continued.
The ceremony also marked her return after throat surgery and featured what the Daily Mail called a "rousing" rendition of 'Rolling In The Deep'.
Elsewhere the big winners were Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Bon Iver and the stage designer for Nicki Minaj's performance which involved levitation and dancing monks.
