Adele's '21' was the biggest-selling 'entertainment product' of 2011 according to a new survey by the Entertainment Retailers Association in conjunction with the Official Charts Company.
The album, which has sold 3.8 million copies in the UK, outpaced every DVD, blu-ray and video game, selling a million more units than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Perhaps Call Of Duty needs to explore the whole ballad 'thing' next time.
Adele's debut album '19' also made the Top 10, as did Bublé's Christmas album and Bruno Mars' 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans'.
