Whitney Houston's Godmother Aretha Franklin paid tribute to the late singer at a concert in North Carolina last night.
Introducing a rendition of Houston's signature tune 'I Will Always Love You', she said: "I would like for you all to share this moment with me, in acknowledging one of the greatest singers that has ever stood before a microphone. I'm speaking of none other than Miss Whitney Elizabeth Houston."
Naturally this prompted a standing ovation from the crowd.
There's an unfortunately quite poor quality YouTube clip of the moment here.
