'Nobody's Home' hitmaker Avril Lavigne 'turned her hand' to working as a shop assistant for a Canadian supermarket chain this week.
Lavigne was helping Safeway launch a campaign raising money for both the Special Olympics and Canadian charity Easter Seals.
She tweeted: "Just bagged groceries with @Safeway to support their people with disabilities campaign with @Easter_Seals!"
She also posted a picture of a medal she received for her efforts and is offering exclusive videos to fan who donate $5 to the charities.
