Perpetual teenager Avril Lavigne's been chatting about 'Here's To Never Growing Up' and how it's all about "being present".
"It's a pop rock tune," she told your friend and ours Ryan Seacrest (as quoted here). "And it's just about being young, having fun, being present, living in the moment and that's what I love to do."
"This is one of the newer tunes [we recorded]. It was me and four dudes and I wanted to write something really fun, like a summer song."
She also admitted that there's a Marilyn Manson duet on the album and a song about her love for Hello Kitty called 'Hello Kitty'.
"I love Hello Kitty so much there's a song on the record called 'Hello Kitty.' Pink is my favorite color…I'm really excited about this song. I'm obsessed with Hello Kitty and it's really fun and the sound is different."
Adorable.
She also 'revealed' that the album will feature "a lot of power ballads, piano ballads, string arrangements," so that's exciting if you like that sort of thing.
