Beyoncé has described herself as "the CEO of my own brand" in The Gentlewoman magazine.
There is a report on the interview here.
"I’m controlling my content, controlling my brand and archiving it for my daughter", announced the 'Star-Spangled Banner' hitmaker, adding that she is also "making sure she [ie her daughter] has it [ie Beyoncé's 'archive'] and she respects it [ie the 'archive']", before going on to say that "there’s not enough of us [ie women] that become moguls."
In a touching moment during the piece, Beyoncé recalls the hardships she has faced on the way to 75m album sales.
"I have memories of when there was no air conditioning in the new building and we didn’t have an office," she recalled. "It was like camping.”
