Kelly Rowland's 'Motivation' currently sits at Number One on the Billboard Hip-Hop & R&B chart. Beyonce's 'Best I Never Had' rests at 18. This has confused '4' producer Jeff Bhasker.
"How can this [Kelly Rowland] song with the weakest beat and melody of all time be the #1 song on urban!?" Bhasker asked on Twitter. "Oh yeah. Wayne [as in, Lil Wayne]."
He wasn't finished: “I just listened to Motivation again to see if I was to harsh in my critique. I wasn’t. The lyrics are horrid as well.”
'Motivation' has been slowly climbing the Billboard charts for weeks, whereas all releases from '4' have, to some extent, stalled.
Bhasker qualified his criticisms by saying: “Come on twitter you know you live for the negative tweets.”
