Infrequent collaborator Calvin Harris wanted Florence Welch to be on his album more than anyone else.
"It's more satisfying when you're pursuing something," he told MTV in a slightly sinister fashion. "It's like chasing a girl or something."
"It's way more satisfying if you put in a year's worth of effort of chasing and then you get the result, you get the vocal. So the Florence track was number one. She was most chased of the whole album."
He then went on to explain how he met Ms Welch.
"I met Florence for the first time end of 2007," he said, "and the first time I ever saw her in my life, it was like a weird corporate [party] and I walked into the green room and she was definitely drunk, getting a piggy back off someone in her band, like with a bottle of champagne, screaming. And I thought 'I like this girl.'"
Amazing.
