Carly Rae Jepsen, humanity’s only hope, last night won an MTV Movie and TV award for her searing performance in last year's Grease: Live.
Jeppo was honoured for her ensemble work during 'You're The One That I Want', which was deemed Best Musical Moment, beating Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop The Feeling!' and a song from Moana.
As you well know, the 'Run Away With Me' hitmaker played Frenchy in the live production, with TV Guide's review praising her as "a pop star".
This is the latest of the approximately eight million awards Jeppo will win before her sad death, but she will continue to win posthumous awards long after that — so far into the future, in fact, that the solar system as we know it will cease to exist but gongs and plaques will continue to hurtle through space in the direction of Carly Rae Jepsen's persistent aura.
