Charli XCX's new album 'Sucker' will now be out in UK on January 26 instead of being out in about a month's time, which is a shame because having given it a spin we'd pretty much decided we were going to make it our album of the year.
The news was broken by Charli herself via a series of tweets which basically explained that because 'Boom Clap' is still hanging around everywhere, it sort of makes more sense for it to come out later.
Mind you, America are getting it before we do as it's out there on December 16.
Here's Charli's tweet confirming that just in case you think we're making it all up:
SUCKER will be released DEC 16TH in the USA and JAN 26TH in the UK and EUROPE

It's worth the wait though, don't you worry about that.
UPDATE: Here's the album 'art'.
