Cher Lloyd has been hailed as "the future" by The New York Times.
Right at the end of a fairly lengthy ramble about rapper Kreayshawn ('Gucci Gucci' is quite fun) and how she's been signed because of the success of Ke$ha, it suddenly switches its attentions to 'our' Cher and, specifically, the not-exactly-universally-loved 'Swagger Jagger'.
"As British engagements with hip-hop and American pop go, it’s amusing and well done. She’s featherlight, innocuous, and she’s the future."
Wow.
