'The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)' hitmaker Christina Aguilera will return to The Voice (in America) for the show's eight 'season' (series), NBC have confirmed.
Aguilera — who hasn't sat in a high-backed spinny red chair since 'season' (series) five — will replace Gwen Stefani in the lineup alongside Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams.
This is all very well, but what does Paul Telegdy, NBC Entertainment’s president of alternative and late night programming, have to say about it all?
“We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can’t wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition."
That's the thing with competitions, isn't it Paul? So often they become competitive.
