Conor Maynard has officially announced details of his debut album 'Contrast'.
That's the album cover to your right. We think he's got his ball stuck up a tree and is trying to point the kindly man next door to its whereabouts.
According to the pretty spectacular press release Maynard is "no insipid pop puppet", which must be why his A&R team assembled a lineup of producers that have been nowhere near a pop album of late. People like Pharrell Williams, Stargate and The Invisible Men, with whom Maynard shares management.
Frank Ocean's done a song on it too, which is good news 'for the blogs', while collaboration-shy Rita Ora (with whom Maynard shares management) pops up on one song.
"I am my fanbase," Conor tells the press release. "I’m making music for people like me; I know what I want to hear when I’m out partying with my friends and I know what I want to hear when I’ve broken up with my girlfriend."
'Contrast' is released on July 30 and the track listing is below.
