Demetria Devonne 'Demi Lovato' Lovato has been chatting away about her new YouTube show, Simply Complicated ("I think I am simply complicated"), which is due to 'air' on YouTube.
Having a chat to some people at Cannes Lions (as reported here), she said she'd taken to decision to make the 'behind-the-scenes docudrama, and have cameras follow her 24 hours a day, because she's "at a pivotal point in my life, turning 25".
(Fucking hell mate if you think this is bad wait until you hit 30.)
Demi of course also wants the series to help her connect more with her fans: "I’m looking at my future and my past and I want to share that with my fans."
So why YouTube we hear you cry? Why isn't this on BBC One or something?
"YouTube is the OG," Lovato mused. "YouTube has been around for so long. I started my own YouTube channel over 10 years ago and I’ve been able to create my own content and to connect with my fans through there, so being able to partner with you guys has been a dream come true."
So there you are: conventional television is dead and Demi Lovato does not care.
It's not clear when Simply Complicated starts but we're sure Demi will tell us 'across her socials'.
