Gary Barlow is writing a new anthem for The Queen

Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gary Barlow are teaming up to write a song in honour of The Queen's diamond jubilee year.

Barlow and Webber's song­writ­ing process will be captured on film for a BBC doc­u­ment­ary and the fruit of their toil will be performed at a Jubilee concert taking at Buckingham Palace on June 4.

The 'gig' will also feature Sir Paul McCartney, JLS and Elton John.

Gary told BBC Radio 2 that he'll seek inspir­a­tion by trav­el­ling the planet to discover what people think of The Queen, and excitedly added that "this is probably the biggest challenge I've ever taken on musically".
