Lord Gary Barlow has said that the next Take That album will hopefully be out in 2013.
Talking to the Daily Star about it all, he said: "The new album will probably be next year. Everyone’s had their year off and we’re looking forward to it."
Given that he's travelled the world for 'inspiration' as part of this rubbish Diamond Jubilee thing, Barlow warned that we might be 'treated' to some new 'sounds' on the album.
(It's going to sound like 'A Different Beat', isn't it.)
"Your location exposes you to music you wouldn’t normally hear," he said of his holiday. "When I lived in America for a year I came back with a whole different view on how music should be. Think how limited we are to what we listen to. I listen between Capital, Heart and Radio 1 and that’s about it for me."
You want to try Bingo Radio Gary, it's a revelation.
Mind you, it's not all about foraging through the jungle trying to find a remote village with hidden musical talents. "Then you get to Sydney and get in a cab and go: ‘What’s this?’," Barlowo concludes. "It gets the old Shazam going."
'The old Shazam'.
