It's rumoured Google will launch its new music service, the imaginatively titled Google Music, on Wednesday.
Google Music is thought to be similar to Apple's iCloud in that it's a service in which users can combine both streaming and downloadable content.
It's thought that Google recently signed a licensing deal with Universal Music, with label bigwigs due to attend the event on Wednesday.
According to Music Week, cryptic invites were sent out to US journalists last Friday purportedly from Spinal Tap guitarist Nigel Tufnel which included the legend "These Go To Eleven."
