JoJo has finally extricated herself from her record deal with Blackground Music — after seven years of nonsense — reports the Los Angeles Times.
And, hopefully for the best, she's already signed herself a new deal with Atlantic Records.
Having struggled to get her completed third album released, last summer the 'Sexy To Me' hitmaker took legal action against the label claiming that because she signed her deal when she was a minor she could not be legally bound to the contract after a period of seven years.
According to the article, the new contract was signed in December last year, although there's not much in the way of detail about the new deal.
