'Mr Wankerman' chanteuse Joss Stone has told the Daily Express that she turned down the chance to be a 'mentor' on The Voice.
"I was approached for The Voice in Britain but I don’t think so. The thing is I love music and I love singing with other people and I don’t see it as a competition at all," said Stone, the winner of BBC reality TV show Junior Star For A Night.
"I feel that those things are really good to get exposure but they kind of make it into a competition and that is just sad," she continued.
Perhaps with one eye on the vacant spinny chair and with an album to promote, she then seemed to have a bit of a change of heart: "Other than that it is great because they get to be heard by millions and they never would have been before."
Hm.
