If you're looking to wean yourself off music for good and Lady Gaga's jazz album hasn't quite done the trick, try this for size: Justin Bieber and 'Surfboard' hitmaker Cody Simpson have recorded an acoustic duets album.
News of the rumoured collaboration first emerged in June, but talking to the Sydney Daily Telegraph (as quoted here) Simpson finally (FINALLY!) unveiled some more information about the album, which is due in November.
"It is a smack bang duets [album]," he mused.
"Justin [Bieber, obviously] has been a good mate of mine for a while. It's just us writing."
Did Justin offer up any reason as to why he'd decided to grace you with his presence on this album, Cody?
"He told me he felt like I'd figured myself out and have grown into what he knows I will be, so he was like, 'I see you as that guitarist, singer-songwriter you've always wanted to be'. I play all the guitars on the album."
Sounds like a real treat.
