Katy Perry's made a teaser trailer thing for the 'Wide Awake' video

Katy Perry's video for 'Wide Awake' will be 'unleashed' on June 19 according to an elaborate 'video trailer' (!) she's released.

The fairytale-style teaser opens with a small child finding a dusty old book in a wood, before the pages reveal the various chapters of Perry's never-ending album campaign.

When we get to what should be chapter eight we're told it's 'The Final Chapter', before being teased with various scenes from the video including a giant labyrinth, a poisoned straw­berry and a curious cat.

'Wide Awake' is out on July 2.

Seriously, you can have a bit of a rest now Katy.
