Lady Gaga has announced details of the Born This Way Foundation.
The 'Paper Gangsta' singer's non-profit organisation, to be launched next year, will focus on empowerment of youth by tackling issues such as "self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development".
The Born This Way Foundation has been set up (well, announced) in partnership with Harvard University and the MacArthur Foundation. The foundation is to be directed by Gaga and her mother Cynthia and aims to "establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment".
Fantastic and commendations etc. The snazzy website is here but is a little bare.
