Authentic Chanteuse Lana Del Rey doesn't really know what she's doing when she's 'performing' on stage.
The 'Raise Me Up (Mississippi South)' hitmaker spoke to Vogue Australia (as quoted by the NME) about her feelings of singing live, admitting: "I love to take care of the songs – that's my natural place – then, when I get on stage that's not my element."
"Sometimes I kneel down because I am trembling or touch the audience because I don’t know what else to do," she went on to explain. "But the nice thing about the kids is that they feel bad for me, and pass me soft toys!"
A true performer, ladies and gentlemen.
Lana also had a bit to say about her future intentions in the world of work, noting how she "had a vision of being a writer for film and that's what [she's] doing now."
"Hopefully I will branch into film work and stay there. That will be my happy place. I'd like to stay in one place for a long time."
Well we'd like you to stay in the music business Lana, but we suppose you can't have everything.
