Global Songstress Leona Lewis has revealed that not only is she opening BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend but that she'll also be debuting some new material from her mythical 'Glassheart' album.
Chatting to BBC Newsbeat, the 'I Got You' hitmaker said that she was "quite militant" about her 'gigs' and that she liked to be "so well prepared in advance".
"I do have new material so I'm just deciding what new songs I'm going to put into the set," she added. "I'm opening [the 'event'], so I've got to put on a bloody good show innit."
(The last part of that quote actually happened — we didn't just add it in for comedy value. Amazing.)
Of the other 'artists' set to play this weekend she said she was most looking forward to seeing LOL-friendly funster Plan B, Jay‑Z, 'Labs' and "everyone, everyone's going to be crazy".
