A "thrilled" LL Cool J will host this year's Grammy awards.
In a statement quoted by MTV LL said: "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammys and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true".
It's the first time the ceremony will have a host since Queen Latifah was in charge in 2005. Performances on the night come from Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson, with Adele up for six awards.
