Madonna's manager Guy Oseary has 'laughed off' claims that she had to change the title of 'Girl Gone Wild' to avoid a lawsuit from adult film maker Joe Francis, according to TMZ.
Francis reportedly sent the 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' hitmaker a cease and desist letter after hearing of the track's original name, 'Girls Gone Wild', also the title of a series of his films. This, in Francis' eyes, was a "misappropriation of his trademark".
While the rogue 's' has been dropped from the title, Oseary maintains that this was only done to reflect the way Madonna sings it in the song, further pointing out that there are many other songs with the same name.
'MDNA' will be released on March 26.
